Donald Gregory Stacey, 47, of Watts Creek passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at his residence. Born March 5, 1965 in Harlan County, he was a retired truck driver and believed in the Baptist faith. Greg was a loving husband and father; he also loved to play his guitar and write songs.

He was preceded by his parents, Donald William Stacey and Leota Williams Borders; his grandmother who raised him, Verdia Williams and his grandfather, Mathias Williams, Sr.

Donald is survived by his wife of 24 years, Regina Smallwood Stacey, Watts Creek; two children, Tiffany Stacey and Jacob Stacey; Watts Creek; one sister, Treasa Stacey, and her children, Tangie, Josh, Shandie and their children; his uncle, Mathias Williams and his children, Jackie and Renee and their children; and his step-father, Clyde Borders, Cincinnati, OH.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Loyall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, in the chapel of Loyall Funeral Home with the Reverend Arnold Martin and the Reverend Mathias Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Cusick, Johnny Stewart, Josh Hudson, James Smallwood, Andy Smallwood, Josh Smith and other family and friends.
