She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Bissell, Jr., also of Knoxville. They lived in Harlan, Kentucky for 50 years where they belong to the First Baptist Church of Loyall. They belong to the Rocky Hill Baptist Church while in Knoxville and were very active and dedicated to the church work and made many fine friends. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority where she had special friends for over 40 years.
She is survived by her two children, Dr. Ben Bissell of Arizona and Neta Noble of North Carolina. She has three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her life was full and complete.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
