Timothy Lee Zunda, 48 of Lejunior passed away Thursday Jan. 31, 2013 at his home following a long illness with cancer.

A native of Harlan County he believed in the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Zunda, Jr and Naomi Nantz Zunda; his grandparents, Tex and Georgia Nantz; a distant relative, George Zunda.

He is survived by his ex wife, Susie Zunda Creech of Evarts; son, William Alfred Lee Zunda of Evarts; 2 granddaughters, Shayla and McKenzie Zunda of Harlan; 6 brothers, Tex (Zeola) Zunda of Pontiac, MI, William (Laura) Zunda of Evarts, Walter Zunda of Ashville, NC, Roger (Treva) Zunda of Evarts, John Zunda of Lejunior, Kyle (Dianna) Zunda of Baxter; 1 sister, Dolly Nantz Bohr and fiancée Tom of Calvin; special niece, caregiver, and friend, Donna J. Zunda (Jason) Preston of Evarts; 3 great nieces, Carissa, Jaylin, and Ashley Preston; special nephew, Ben Zunda of Evarts; he leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be Sunday Feb. 3, 2013 from 12 – 2:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. James Sanders officiating.

Cremation will follow the services.
