Johnny Lee Whitaker, 28 of Loyall, was born on May 13, 1984 in Harlan, KY and died on February 2, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN. He believed in the Church of God Faith.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark and Helen Whitaker and Johnny and Shelby Engle.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Teresa Whitaker of Loyall; his brother, Mark Travis and wife, Sierra Whitaker of Loyall; his nephew, Mark Malachi Whitaker and a niece, Alyson Taylor Shepherd. His special friend Jamie Bush and all his friends at Horizons Adult Day Care in Harlan along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1PM in the Chapel of Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Neil Engle, Ronnie Engle, Tony Ray Taylor, Timmy Engle, Mark Travis Whitaker, Tony Engle, Brian Whitaker, Logan Taylor and Billy Griffin serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-9 at Rich Funeral Home.
