James H. “Jimmy” Duckworth, 60, of Cumberland, KY passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013, at the UT Medical Center following a long, courageous battle with cancer. He worked his entire life in the mining industry, first as a coal miner and for the past 11 years as a federal mine inspector. Survivors include his wife, Diana Duckworth; two sons, Ryan (Beth) and Matthew (Tina); and grandchildren, Ethan, Drew, Kayle, and Joshua. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
