Brenda Saylor, 57, of Calvin, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, at the UK Medical Center following a short illness. A native of Harlan County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Living God.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Saylor and Norma Jean Allen Saylor.

Survivors include her husband, David Saylor, Calvin; four children, Tasha Boyl, Robert Boyl, James Allen and wife, Kim, and Richard Allen; a step-daughter, Beverly Zitkovich and husband, Michael; four sisters, Anna Boyl and husband, Bob; Sandy Crawford and husband, Pete; Edith Thomas and husband, Toy; Dorothy Sizemore and husband, Jay; and one brother, Jimmy Saylor and wife, Rhonda.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Madison and Jayden Selvey; Kristen and Brittany Boyl; Caleb Saylor; Bianca, Nicole, Willow and Bryce Allen; Shonn Osborne; Erica Smith; Zachary and Joseph Zitkovich; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Cooper and husband, Mike; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 8 pm at the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 18, 2013, at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Turner and Brother David Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
