Nathaniel Boggs, age 57, of Cumberland, KY departed this life on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Willie Boggs, Sr. and Mabel Williams Boggs in Benham, KY on February 21, 1955. Nathaniel was disabled but had spent many years working in the coal mining industry.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Willie Boggs, Jr., and sister, Pauline Boggs.

He leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Jeanette Davis Boggs of Cumberland, KY; children, Melissa Tolliver and husband, Jeff, of Benham, KY, Willie and Timothy Boggs of Cumberland, KY; brothers, Orville, James, Irvin, Wayne, Jeff and Taff Boggs all of Cumberland, KY; five grandchildren, Dixie and Anthony Burgos, Geoffery and Betty Tolliver, and Caleb Boggs; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Hiram Pentecostal Church in Hiram, KY on Friday, December 21, 2012, after 5 pm. Funeral services will be held at the church at 7 pm on Friday, December 21, 2012, with the Reverend Bill Combs officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 11 am in Fields Boggs Family Cemetery at Partridge, KY.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers for the services.
