Alfred H. Napier, age 83 of Mary Alice, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Harlan ARH Hospital. He was born October 9, 1929 to the late Lee and Ellen (Mills) Napier in Harlan, KY. He retired as a construction worker at Langley and Morgan Construction Company. He was a longtime member and deacon of the Pansy Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Reed Napier.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 46 years, Shirley Ann (Cole) Napier; 3 children, Debbie Napier Hudson and husband Mark of Wichita, KS, Alfred Napier and wife Kathy of Calhoun, GA, and Jennifer Turner of Resca, GA; one sister, Ina Hicks of Mary Alice, KY; 5 grandchildren, Ashleigh Turner, Meagan Hudson, Starrla Napier, Paige Hudson, and Jacob Turner; and 3 great grandchildren. Many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Pansy Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pansy Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Joe Rouse and Rev. Eddie Huckleby officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
