Mr. Green was born May 2, 1948 at Balkan, KY to the late Otto and Sarah Ellen Kelly Green. He attended the Blackmont Baptist Church and believed in the Holiness faith.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Robert Brock, Jr., 1 brother, Carl Green, sister, Bertha Green, and a special friend, Opal Brock.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Green; sons, John Lelon Green, Jr, Tony Brock, Rooster Middleton, David Middleton, and Paris Smith; daughters, Carolyn Gardner and Sandy Griffin; brothers, Eugene, E.L. Vernon and Jerry Green; sister, Lou Tuttle; a host of grandchildren, 1 great grandchild with 1 on the way; a very special nurse, Rose Green; he leaves several nieces, nephews other relatives to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 6 until 11:00 pm Friday Dec. 21, 2012 at the Blackmont Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday at the church with Rev. David Howard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tackett Hill Cemetery at Hulen.
