Celia “Ellis” Leonard, age 84, was born Feb. 1, 1928 in Harlan County, KY and passed from this life June 6, 2012 at Indian Creek Health and Rehab Center in Corydon, IN.

Celia is the daughter of the late Erma and Bradley Ellis, of Straight Creek. In addition, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow and Hamp Ellis.

She is survived by her two sons, Raymond E. Cox, Jr. and Marshall D. Cox; a sister, Ila Grey; a brother, Murph Ellis; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Harlan Funeral Home with graveside services and burial immediately following at the Nolan-Ellis cemetery at Coldiron Branch, Bledsoe, KY.
