Clara Helen Jones Bledsoe, age 80, of Partridge passed away in the loving care of her family on Sunday, May 13, 2012, from pancreatic cancer. She was born to the late Obie and Sallie Robbins Jones on June 24, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH. She is preceded in death by his husband, James Bledsoe; siblings, Orville, AJ, Donald, and Ira Jones, Irma Smithers; and daughter-in-law, Gail Bledsoe.

She is held in the memories of her sister, Shirley Blackburn of Mainesville, OH; children, Alan Bledsoe of Partridge, Anita (Dale) Lewis of Partridge, Sallie (Samuel) Sparkman of Gordon, Kevin (Terenia) Bledsoe of Cumberland; grandchildren, Jarrett (Lanette) Lewis of Cumberland, Amanda (Dana) Noyes of Scottsville, VA, Samantha Sparkman of Middlesboro, Shane Sparkman of Gordon, and David Bledsoe of Cumberland; great grandchildren, Antaya and Akayla Lewis, Ethan and Autumn Noyes; and a host of loved ones and friends.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, between 6 – 9 pm. Funeral services for Clara will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at 2 pm with David Maggard officiating. Interment will follow in the Maggard Cemetery at Partridge. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family truly appreciates the loving kindness, words of encouragement, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, meals, and companionship that all have graciously provided. We are especially grateful for the services that Hospice of the Bluegrass rendered during this time of need.
