Passing for Purpose camp set

The second annual “Passing for a Purpose” quarterback/wide Receiver camp will be held May 18, from 9 a.m. to 3.p.m. at Coal Miner’s Memorial Stadium located on the campus of Harlan County High School.
The fee is $10 per camper, and the camp is open to all students in grades kindergarten through twelfth-grade. The registration fee includes a camp shirt, meal, and basic quarterback, receiver skills and techniques. In addition, the camp features various guest speakers, including Harlan County coach Tom Larkey, former UK quarterback Freddie Maggard and others. The camp donates all proceeds to a charity of choice. This year’s recipient will be Ronald McDonald House.
Current Harlan County football staff will provide instruction along with other surrounding area high school and middle school coaches. The camp includes group break downs, route running, basic route combos, quarterback footwork/drops, one on ones, obstacle courses and more. Camp planners need an estimate on the number of campers planning to attend to allow for food and shirt ordering and for breakout sessions. Email eddie.creech@harlan.kyschools.us for more information or to register. Include name, age, shirt size, and contact information including phone and address if you register. Any coaches interested in participating and/or attending should email Creech as well.
