Rondal Lee Doyle, 74, of Wallins, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the UT Medical Center. He was born in Wallins, KY, and had lived most of his life here in Harlan County. He was a retired motor winder, having spent most of these years at National Electric Coil in Dayhoit. He was an active member of the Wallins Church of God, where he loved to play lead guitar. Besides his church and his family, the other joy of his life was following the University of KY Wildcats.

Rondal was preceded in death by his parents Pearl and Mayme Fultz Doyle; his brother, Dewayne (Pearl Jr.) Doyle; and his sister, Wanda Howard.

Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 53 years, Delilah Roe Doyle, Wallins; his daughter, Connie Stallard Brock and husband William, of Wallins; his son, Ronnie Lee Doyle and wife Sue, of Baxter; and a very special sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Teena Roe) Sergent of Corbin. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Kristy Sturgill and husband Kyle, Somerset; Jacob Doyle, Harlan; Katie Lemaster and husband Michael, London; Joshua Doyle and wife Regina, Baxter; Leah Hatmaker, Corbin; and Samuel Stallard and wife Christina, Richmond; four great-grandchildren: Joseph Doyle, Riley and Aria Lemaster, and Kaylee Sturgill; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Harlan Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 20, at 1:00 p.m. at the Wallins Church of God, with his son, Reverend Ronnie Doyle and the Reverend Jimmy Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY, with grandsons and other family serving as pallbearers.
