Kentucky State Police Trooper Craig Miller is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred Saturday at Coldiron.
Post 10 received a call from a female stating that she had been robbed.
KSP Public Affairs Officer Shane Jacobs said a preliminary investigation indicates the victim stopped to render assistance to an apparent broken down pickup truck.
“Two male subjects wearing dark clothing advised the victim they needed a jump of their vehicle,” Jacobs said. “When the victim emerged from the vehicle, one of the male subjects pushed her back into the vehicle, reached in and grabbed cash from her vehicle. The victim described the vehicle as a green, Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.”
Jacobs said no other information was provided from the victim.
This case remains under investigation by Miller.
