The Harlan Green Dragons cruised to a 90-48 victory at Red Bird in 13th Region action on Saturday.

Freshman Drew Parks had 23 points to power the Green Dragons in the win. Parks recorded 13 points in the opening period as the Dragons raced out to a 24-10 lead.

Harlan put the game away in the second quarter, outscoring the host Cardinals to take a 53-28 advantage into the half.

The Green Dragons continued to pull away in the third quarter. Nathan Young had eight points in the period as the advantage grew to 74-40.

Senior Erik Young poured in 30 points to pace Red Bird in the loss.

Harlan (9-16) returns to action Monday at Knox Central. Red Bird (6-13) will host Lynn Camp on Tuesday.
