Mae Skidmore Davenport of Cranks, KY passed away on January 24, 2013 at her home following a long illness. She was born January 11, 1953 in Harlan, KY to the late Howard and Rebecca Thompson Skidmore. She retired from the Harlan Nursing Home and Rehabilitation after 27 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Burman, George, and Arnold Skidmore, and a sister, Sue Jones.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Ronald J. Davenport of Cranks, KY, a daughter, Sue Davenport Bush and husband, Mike, of Cranks, KY, a son, Jayson Davenport and Amy Froman of Nicholasville, KY, grandchildren, Angel Davenport, Megan Bush, Mathew Bush, Addisyn Miller, and Stephanie Masters, sisters, Ella and Steve Mitchell of Cranks, KY, Nancy and Jim Brown of Keith, KY and Betty Anderson of Virginia, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 6 to 8PM at Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 11AM at the Skidmore Family Cemetery, Cranks, KY. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
