Habert Dawayne Napier, 48, Verda, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 4, 1965 in Harlan County and had lived here all of his life. Habert was a coal miner and believed in the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Cannon and Hobert Napier; and one brother, Wayne Napier.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Trammell, Putney; Bryan Adams, Tennessee; three brothers, Hayward, Chester & Kenny; four sisters, Janice, Betty, Carolyn and Karen. Also surviving is his granddaughter, Brandy Lynn Napier.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1 until 8 PM at the Turner Missionary Baptist Church at Verda.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 1 PM at the Turner Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerry Kirby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
