Leland Ray Cupp 68, of Evarts, Ky. Passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. He was born June 13, 1944 in Verda, Ky. Mr. Cupp was a retired coal miner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Leland & Beatrice Irvin Cupp.

Survivors include his wife; Bonnie Cupp of Evarts, Ky. Two children; Patrick S. Cupp of Bell Co. Ky. & Mitzi Kaye Cupp Smith of Coaling, Alabama. Two grandchildren; Cameron Smith & Chelsea Battles. One great grandchild; Preston K. Battles. Two brothers; Shelby Cupp & wife Linda of Fennville, MI. & Rufus Cupp & wife Melinda of LaFollette, TN. Three sisters; Nancy Brock of Coldiron, Ky. Bonnie Good & husband Steve of Fennville, MI. Billie Dillman & husband Ford of Smith, Ky. And several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 from 5-8 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Following Mr. Cupp’s wishes there will be no other services.
