Jackie A. Sargent, age 72 of Cawood, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Harlan A R H Hospital. He was born January 25, 1940 to the late Eaf and Mary (Stewart) Sargent. He was a security guard and believed in the Holiness faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Sargent.

Survivors include his children, Jack Davis of Evarts, KY and Melinda Davis of Cawood, KY; five grandchildren; two brothers, David Sargent of Stickleyville, VA and Michael Lever of Woodway, VA; three sisters, Shirley Brown of Salem, IN, Artie Sargent of Jonesville, VA and Jean Jones of Woodway, VA. Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
