Patricia “Pat” Morton, 51, of London, formerly of Evarts, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London following a brief illness She was born April 2, 1961 in Germany, but had lived in Evarts most of her life. Patricia was a Quality Control Technician for Aisin Automotive Casting Co. and believed in the Jehovah Witness faith.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Kelly Poteet, and her father, Bill Forester Poteet.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Patterson, Evarts; and Chris Patterson and wife, Nikki, London; four brothers, Bill Poteet and wife, Miyon, Georgia; Mike Poteet and wife, Linda, Tennessee; Rick Poteet, Evarts; and Mark Poteet, Tennessee; and one sister, Pam Witt and husband Mitchell, Evarts.

Also surviving is her former husband and still close friend, Mark Morton, Evarts; her special little angel, Addison Sears; and a host of family, friends and co-workers at Aisin.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 9 pm in the chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 4, 2012, at

3 pm in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
