Students from Howard Family Karate competed against martial artists from across Kentucky on July 28 at the 2012 Bluegrass State Martial Arts Games in Frankfort.
Students brought home 10 gold, four silver and four bronze medals. Master Daniel Howard stated, “I am very proud of my students. They represented our school well and were great ambassadors of our county.”
Howard Family Karate is located at the Old Verda School. Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. for kids and 8:30 p.m. for adults.
