He was preceded in death by his parents Brad and Ethel Miniard: one brother Kilburn, one sister Birdie, two grandsons Joshua Miniard and Sawyer Johnston.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Scearse Miniard, and his seven children: Terry Miniard, Kathy Harris, Sandy Cupp, Brad Miniard, Cindy Miniard, Tammy Kelly, and Rena Johnston. Four brothers Winston, Vernon, Wilburn, Pete, and one sister Ruth Brittian. He was also loved by his 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
His family chose to honor his life at a private, family memorial on Saturday, July 21st.
