Minnie Knuckles, age 47 of Krypton, Kentucky, formerly of Cumberland, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Hazard ARH after a long illness. She was born on August 3, 1964, unto the union of the late William & America Gibbert Simpkins. She believed in the Church of God faith and was a homemaker.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters Tina L. & Amanda S. Knuckles both of Spring City, Tennessee, three sons, Thomas Knuckles of Dayton, Tennessee, William W. Knuckles of Krypton, KY, Joshua C. Knuckles of Spring City, Tennessee, seven brothers, Roy J. Simpkins of Cumberland, James W. Simpkins & Cliffton Simpkins both of Morristown, Tennesee, David L. Simpkins & Earl W. Simpkins both of Hazard, Kentucky, Eddie Simpkins of London, KY, Franklin R. Simpkins of Lexington, KY, two sisters, Della E. Caudill of Blackey, KY and Mattie L. Land of Lexington, KY, three grandchildren, Talor M. Knuckles of Spring City, Tennessee, Dannielle M. & Elijah H. Knuckles both of Dayton, Tennessee. Funeral services were Monday, June 18th at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrel Turner officiating.

Burial was in the D.L. Creech Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.
