The Tri-City West Little League team defeated the Harlan Hammers 9-1 to claim third place in the Trooper Island Tournament last weekend.
Cameron Nease and Israel Terry each had two singles to lead Tri-City offensively. Eli Estep and Tyler Casolari added one single each.
Nease allowed just two hits to claim the win on the mound.
The Hammers were led by Benjamin Lewis and Gabe Price with one single each.
Lewis pitched four innings and Jacob Wilson pitched two.
Tri-City West advanced with wins over the Tazewell Smokies and Undertakers before falling to Hazard.
The Hammers defeated the Undertakers, Smokies and Knox County Young Guns, but fell to Fleming Neon in the semifinals.
Fleming Neon downed Hazard 8-0 to capture the tournament championship on Sunday.
