Katie Kindred will close the book on her college career soon when she graduates from the University of Tennessee. She has majored in retail and consumer science with a minor in business. During her time on the Knoxville campus, she was a varsity cheerleader and helped the squad finish fifth in a national competition held earlier this year. The daughter of Shelby and Mary Beth Kindred of Lexington, Katie served as a member of the UT Student Athletic Advisory Committee and was a representative for the UT Athletics Board. She also was the recipient of the E. Lynn Harris All Southeastern Conference Spirit Team Award. Her grandparents are Jerry and Judy Kersey, Harlan. Katie is pictured here with the Vols’ mascot Davy Crockett.
