Robert Cole Jr., age 58 of Lynch passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London. He was native of Lynch and born to Virginia Lewis Pierce and Butch Robert Cole, Sr. Robert retired after 20 years of service in the United States Navy. He was currently employed at Southeast Community and Technical College in the HVAC department.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Lester (Judge) Lewis; and one daughter, Kelly Jo Lewis.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Halcomb Cole; children, Joanne Cole of Texas, Justin Wren and Amy of Batesville, IN, and Brandy Lewis of Cumberland; sisters, Robin Cole, Lisa Gallagos and Karen Wren; grandchildren, Kawaii, Kai, Kearstyn Wren, Mikayla Roberts, Talia Burgan, Breanna Brown, and Ally Brown; also a host of relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, 2012, from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 2 pm in the chapel with Dr. Bruce Ayers and Dr. Willard Conover speaking. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram.

Justin Wren, Rick Gilliam, James Day, Charlie Funk, Bill Halcomb, and David Halcomb will serve at pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Pierce.
