The Mountain Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently held their annual banquet at the Harlan County Extension Office Depot to recognize local students. Those honored as DAR Good Citizens pictured are Jessica Alred (left), of Harlan County High School, and Kaitlyn Skidmore (right), of Harlan High School. The JROTC Bronze Medal recipient was Josh, Zunda, of Harlan County High School. Members attending were Anita Boswell, Arlene Brown, Kathy Burns, Theresa Coleman, Karen Grills, Lisa Johnson, Sandra Mullins, Patsy Pate and Dianna Short. Guests attending were Carolyn Alred, Lisa Asbury, Bob Howard, Georgia Kelly, Jeff Lunsford, Kathryn Reynolds, Stephanie Reynolds and Paula Skidmore.
