She was born March 2, 1958 in Harlan. She was a registered nurse and believed in the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Bird.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Knuckles, of Tway; parents: William and Novella Irvin, of Tway; one brother, William Irvin Jr., of Tennessee; one sister, Kathy Rivers, of Loyall; two nephews: Jeffrey Irvin and Gary Lewis; one niece, Crissy Irvin; and several other relatives and friends also survive.
Private funeral services will be conducted with the Rev. Howard Farmer and the Rev. Don Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tway Cemetery of Tway.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
