Bell, who pitched well in a relief effort Tuesday at Cumberland, struck out 12 and walked two as she fired a three-hitter against the Lady Cats. Harlan's ace, freshman Emily Caudill, could be out another week or longer with shin splints.
Harlan (6-2) was led at the plate by Tierra Sundy and Kerri McCarthy with two singles apiece. Bell tripled, and Megan Ball and Alex Allison each added a single.
The Lady Dragons return to action tonight at home against Barbourville before opening regional All "A" Classic play Tuesday at home with a quarterfinal matchup against the winner of tonight's Middlesboro-Pineville game.

The Lady Skins suffered their first loss of the season Friday as they fell to the host Lady Jackets in the Cumberland Falls Invitational.
Cumberland (6-1) managed just six hits against Williamsburg's Cecily Sears. Three of them came from freshman Samantha Sexton, who belted her second homer of the season and also added a double and a single. Stacy Houser doubled and singled, and Shawna Short added a single.
Sophomore Kelsey Day (5-1) surrendered 10 hits while striking out six and walking three as she suffered the loss.
The Lady Skins will play host to Oneida Baptist on Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the regional All "A" Classic.
