A native of Newport News, Va., Wright had lived in Closplint most of his life and had attended the Closplint Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wright Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Verna “Pat” Burgan and her companion, Jack Clark, both of Closplint; a brother, Robert Wright Jr., of Mederia, Ohio; two sisters: Mattie Wright and Rebecca Kelly, both of Closplint; a special niece, Tara Hathcock, Closplint; and a special friend, Danny Caudill, Closplint.
Visitation will be held today at noon at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Graveside services will also be held today at 2 p.m. at the Evarts Memorial Gardens will the Rev. Frank Howard officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Evarts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
