Carolyn Sue Baker, 60, Pathfork, died Nov. 18, 2006, at her residence following a long illness.

Baker, a native and lifelong resident of Pathfork, was a child of Christ Jesus, a homemaker and a member of the Pathfork Holiness Church. She leaves behind many spiritual brothers and sisters who will mourn her loss yet rejoice in their reunion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Trent and Victoria Jones Taylor; three brothers: Harry, Eugene and Buster Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Fred L. Baker, Pathfork; five children: Brenda Baker, Pathfork; Victoria Robbins and husband, Mark, Cincinnati; Mary King and husband, Charlie, Knoxville; Denise Baker, Middlesboro; and Tyler Baker, Pathfork; three brothers: Sammy Taylor, Pine Knot; and Jesse and Cecil Taylor, Walton; five sisters: Margie Howard and Rachel Taylor, both of Cincinnati; Betty Tibbetts, Indianapolis; Brenda Epstes, New Tazewell; and Doris Snellings, Hulen; one grandchild, Caleb Baker, Pathfork; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held today after 5 p.m. at the Pathfork Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at noon at the church with the Rev. Everett Eads and the Rev. Robert Lee officiating.

Burial will take place in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Harlan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
