George Bush, 61, Cumberland, died April 28, 2006, at his home following a long illness.

A native of Cumberland, he had lived there all his life. He was a mechanic and a member of Gilliam Chapel Church in Cumberland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Belle White Bush; one son, George Michael Bush; three brothers, Talmadge Bush, Lawrence Bush, and Andy Fee Bush; and one sister, Christine Gilliam.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Salyer Bush, Cumberland; four children, Ursle Lee Bush, Key Stone Heights, Fla.; Margaret Renee Halcomb, Lancaster; Robert Bush and Matthew Bush, Cumberland; one brother, Robert Bush, Louisville; three sisters: Jewell Ison, Fay North and Maggie Lewis, all of Cumberland; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Tri-City Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-City Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Boggs and the Rev. John Monhollen officiating.

Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland.

Paul Salyer, Robert Salyer, Allen Bush, Hargus Cornett, Andy Cornett and Everett Denniston will serve as pallbearers. Buddy Bush and Dennis Bush will serve as honorary pallbearers.
