He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe B. Allen and Pheba Hale Allen.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Allen, Rio Vista; three brothers: Kenneth E. Allen, Boston; James Allen, Garrett; and Sid Allen, Louisville; three nieces, four nephews and a host of dear friends.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Loyall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul White officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Loyall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
