He was a graduate of Cumberland High School and Harlan Vocational School and had been a welder for Link Belt in Lexington and Huckleby Welding. He believed in the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Denver Morris and Delza Adams; and his aunts: Sharon Morris Lewis and Vanessa Adams.

Survivors include his mother, Shelia Morris Edwards, Cumberland; his father, Rodney Adams, Cumberland; two brothers: Christopher Allen Adams and wife, April, Richmond; and Chadwick Shayne Adams, Cumberland; two nieces: Lindsey Adams, Richmond; and Morgan Adams, Cumberland; a nephew, Justin Adams, Cumberland; his grandmothers: Evelyn Banks Adams, Benham; and Edna Paul Morris, Hiram; and aunts and uncles: Doris Clark, Wayne Morris, Allen Morris, Eula Miles Rasnic, Betty Kilborne, Marjorie White Brown, Jewel Sergent, Diana Griffith Neece, Carmella Bolling Hendrickson, Belinda Browning, Paquita Shoupe, Delbretta Adams and Gregory Wayne Adams.

Visitation is today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of Day & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Gluck officiating.

Burial will follow in the Green Morris Cemetery at Hiram.

Greg Adams, Scott Bailey, John Halcomb, Anthony Jenkins, Travis White, William Lewis, Brian Browning and R.L. Trent will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Blair, Eddie Anderson, David Shoupe, Anthony Lewis and Phillip White.
