Barbourville standout Monica Mills is averaging nearly 16 points per game, sixth-best in the 13th Region. Tuesday at Evarts, the junior center ran into two problems: a bum ankle and Sabrina Smith.
Mills and her high-scoring counterpart, senior guard Heather Ball (13.6 ppg), were held to just two points each as the host Lady Cats won 39-31.
