A native of Letcher County, Huff was a homemaker and a member of the Hurricane Gap Old Regular Baptist Church in Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Byrd and Mary Miller Fields.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Rodney Huff, Linefork; a son, 94th District State Rep. Harold Cornett, Whitesburg; two stepdaughters: Delores Joe Matthews, California; and Rhonda Sue Pyles, Seymour, Ind.; a brother, David Fields, Columbus, Ind.; two sisters: Grace Cornett, Gordon; and Evelyn Hilderbrand, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday at Tri-City Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. and Thursday after 9 a.m.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hurricane Gap Old Regular Baptist Church at Gordon with the Elder Charles Shepherd and the Elder Glen Cornett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hurricane Gap Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Tri-City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
