Brock leads all-region squad

The 13th Region Media Girls award winners were announced recently by 13th Region Media President Les Dixon. Selections were made the 13th Region media outlet votes.

Harlan junior Jordan Brock was named the 13th Region Media Girls Player of the Year, and Harlan coach Derrick Akal was named 13th Region Girls Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Dragons to the 13th Region title and a trip to the state tournament at Northern Kentucky University.

South Laurel eighth-grader Ally Collett brought home the 13th Region Media Girls Newcomer of the Year award
