Lynn Camp made the most of three hits, capitalizing on four Harlan errors to win 7-2 in the season opener for both teams Thursday at Lynn Camp.
Dylan Brown came on in relief in the third inning and limited the Dragons to only one hit over the final five innings to earn the win. He struck out seven and walked two while holding Harlan scoreless.
Antonio Roman started on the mound for the Dragons and gave up four runs on two hits in one-plus innings of action. He struck out two and walked five.
Will Varner pitched well in his Harlan debut, giving up three runs (one earned) on one hit in five innings with 13 strikeouts and three walks.
Noah Busroe, Varner, Austin Saylor, Austin Wilson and Tyler Carmical each had one single for the Dragons. Varner scored both Harlan runs.
Bryant, Reedy and Guinn had hits for Lynn Camp.
Harlan will play host to Pineville on Friday and will be at home against Hazard on Saturday at 3:30. Harlan County will open its regular season schedule at noon on Saturday against Hazard.
