New Covenant Cawood Church of God completed another perfect season and hit the century mark for the second week in a row in recent Harlan County Men’s Church Basketball League action.

New Covenant defeated Church of the Nazarene 100-63 and enters next week’s tournament as the No. 1 seed. Totz Church of God overcame a halftime deficit and won 65-48 over Cumberland Pentecostal Church to secure the No. 2 seed.

The league tournament begins Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Harlan County Christian School Gym at the Putney Bible Church, with games throughout the day culminating in the championship game at 5:30.
