Minor a winner at Sleepy Hollow golf tournament

An Enterprise Staff Report

Luke Minor shot a two-under par 138 over 36 holes, edging Ed Leisge by one stroke, to win the Sleepy Hollow Invitational on Sept. 5.

Tom Shelton placed third in the championship flight, two strokes behind Minor. David Clark was four strokes back in fourth.

Jimbo Vicini won the first flight with a 144, three strokes ahead of Mike Granato.

Harlan County High School golfer Brendan Rutherford tied with Jon Estep in the second flight as both shot a 152.

Randy Brackett won the third flight with a 166, one stroke ahead of Mearl Campbell.

TaylorMade prizes were awarded to the top five golfers in each flight. All winners received a set of irons.

The tournament featured 56 golfers, including several from out of town.
