Operation Easter Basket at SKCTC

Chris Jones|Daily EnterpriseStudents, faculty and staff at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College’s Cumberland campus have been busy this week preparing baskets for the Easter season. Through the “Operation Easter Basket” project and sponsored by the college’s non-denominational group the Southeast Christian Fellowship, items to complete 18 baskets have been collected. The baskets will be delivered to Shepherd’s Pantry, a food pantry in Cumberland run by Pauline White, and will be distributed to needy children in the area. The project has been in operation for over 10 years. Working to prepare baskets are, from left: Tessa Roark, Shelia Gordon, Carlton Hughes, Megan Langford and Arynn Jackson.

Woman arrested on robbery charge

Fish Fest slated Saturday in Middlesboro
