Board approves trips, new auditor
Following a deadlock vote last month that suspended plans for student trips, the Harlan County Board of Education met in a brief special session earlier this week and unanimously approved a list of out-of-state excursions by elementary groups.
Assured that all such trips were going to be taken after end-of-year assessment tests were concluded, the board agreed to the following requests:
