A Loyall man was arrested by the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office following a foot pursuit at Coxton on Tuesday.
Deputy Travis Freeman arrested Johnny Blevins, 24, Loyall, and lodged him in the Harlan County Detention Center.
Blevins was served with four outstanding warrants upon his arrest.
His charges include theft by unlawful taking, second-degree trafficking a controlled substance, trafficking in legend drugs, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and failure to appear in court.
In other police news:
* Carl Eddie Collins, 48, was arrested by Deputy Chris Brewer on Tuesday on a warrant charging him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
* Cumberland City Police Sgt. Silas Whitehead arrested Ryan Duckworth, 36, of Cumberland, on Tuesday and charged him with third-degree burglary and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
Duckworth was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
* Harlan City Police Officer Matt Cope arrested Tasha Boyl, 30, of Bell County, on several charges, including theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception including cold checks valued under $500, second-degree criminal trespassing and two failure to appear charges for Harlan Circuit Court.
Boyl was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
* Kentucky State Police Det. Keith Saylor arrested Randall Maurice Cottrell, 25, of Ages, on Monday and charged him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance of less than four grams of cocaine, and third-degree trafficking a controlled substance first offense.
Cottrell was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
