Wilma Jean Smallwood, 65 of La Follette, TN formerly of Harlan County, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Tennova Medical Center in La Follette, TN. She was a native of Knox County and believed in the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elisha Smallwood; two brothers, Hillary Buddy Smallwood, Sr. and Tony Smallwood.

Wilma is survived by her mother, Virgie Patterson Smallwood, La Follette, TN; five brothers, Floyd Smallwood and wife Connie, Cincinnati, OH; Elisha Smallwood, Jr., Harlan; Jack Smallwood and wife Peggy, Jacksboro, TN; Bill Smallwood, La Follette, TN and Ross Smallwood and wife Ginger, La Follette, TN; four sisters, Alice Marie England and husband Paul, Molus; Vicky King and husband Garfield, La Follette, TN; Kathy Smallwood, Harrogate, TN; and Nadine Saylor, Loyall; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12 noon until 2 P.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in the chapel of Loyall Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with the Reverend James Earl Hensley officiating.

Burial will be the Harlan County Memorial Gardens, Fresh Meadows, KY.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
