Roscoe Leath, 80 of Watts Creek passed away Tuesday Feb. 5, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.

Roscoe was born Nov. 3, 1932 in Knox Co., KY to the late John and Linda Smith Leath. He proudly served his country during the Korean Ward as a member of United States Army. He was a retired Coal Miner with Arch of Kentucky and member of Pine Flat Baptist Church.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ada Jane Shepherd Leath.

He is survived by his 3 loving children, George (Sis) Leath, Janet Haywood, and Lisa (Carl) Robinson all of Watts Creek; 6 grandchildren, George Caldwell, III, Nathan Rocky Haywood, Jennifer Carnahan, Aaron Leath, DeAnna Leath, Kimberly Noe, Eric and Megan Robinson; 6 great grandchildren, Chelsey and Faith Caldwell, Steven Leath, Brooklyn Haywood, Brayden and Braxton Noe, Madison and Zoe Robinson; he leaves a special friend, Gary Saylor.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 – 3:00 pm Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Gary Craig, Jr and Bro. Gary Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith. Military rites will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
