Linda Faye Thornton Howard, of Jackson, TN, formerly of Bledsoe, KY passed away on October 2, 2012 at her home at the age of 62. Linda was a retired nurse aide. She had worked at Forest Cove Nursing Home for 12 years.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, David Thornton and Betty Duncan Thornton; two sisters, Shirley Noe and Helen Jones; one brother, John Thornton; and one son, Wayne Howard.

She leaves behind one daughter, Lesa Howard Napier and husband Glenn of Helton, KY and one son, L.D. Howard and wife Kim of Bemis,TN; five granddaughters, Veronica Petrey, Marie Collett, Kimber and Heidi Lilly Faye Howard and Kimberly Tinnel; two great grandchildren ,Jaycee Petrey and Jacob Seth Tinnel; two sisters, Betty Wade and Ellen Helton of Jackson, TN; one brother, Troy Thornton of Huntingdon and special friend, Janet Powell of Ohio. A host of other nieces, nephews and relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at the Dryfork Holiness Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 with Bro. Cammie Bo Caldwell and Roscoe Asher officiating. Burial will follow at the Saylor Family Cemetery on Straight Creek, KY.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the church.
