Little League registration set

Registration for baseball, softball and T-ball for the 2013 Little League season will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Huff Park.

The Harlan County RAP schedule for Saturday includes: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. — Kindergarten-first-grade; 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. — Troy Gaw; 11 a.m. to noon — John Carter; noon to 1 p.m. — second- through fifth-grade; 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. — Garry Henson; 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. — Wallins and Green Hills; 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Kathy Napier; and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. — James A. Cawood and Harlan.

County 7/8 Tournament starts Saturday

The pairings for the upcoming county seventh- and eighth-grade basketball tournament have been announced. The tournament will begin Saturday with four first round games.

7 p.m. — Wallins/James A. Cawood winner vs Cawood/Evarts winner

Tuesday

5:30 p.m. —Consolation game

7 p.m. — Championship
