Staff Report

Cumberland City Council held a special called meeting Tuesday to discuss the budget for the current fiscal year. Mayor Carl Hatfield said the council did take action on this year’s budget.

Council member Caroline Elliott said the council passed the budget for the current year without any revisions and began work on the budget for the next fiscal year.

The meeting’s agenda also listed discussion and any necessary action on amendments to the city ordinance 391, an ordinance for establishing a revised and updated personnel for all departments of the city.

The agenda also addressed reimbursement for job related training for employees of the city.

Hatfield verified the council discussed some issues with the personnel manual, but no action was taken.
