God’s Word tells us that Jesus Christ is “both Lord and Christ,” meaning “both the ‘One Lord God of Abraham,’ and ‘Christ, the Son of God’…”Jesus spoke in John 10:11, “I am the Good Shepherd: The Good Shepherd giveth his life for the Sheep.” Therefore, by admission, Jesus Christ is the “Good Shepherd” that David knew as the “Lord God of Israel;” (Psalms 100) and Jesus admits that he was not only the Good Shepherd, but he was the “Lamb of God” that “giveth his Life” for the Sheep. Please fully understand: “There is a “Love of the Truth” that One must receive to qualify as “Such As Should Be Saved.” And One must be willing to obey the Gospel because the Holy Ghost is given to them that obey.” Acts 5:32.
Paul believed and taught us in Colossians 2:8 that “all of the fullness of the Godhead, “both bodily and in power,” dwells in Jesus Christ. Can we hear Paul’s warning? “Beware, lest any Man spoils you through philosophy and vain deceit; after the traditions of Men, the rudiments of the world, and ‘“not after Christ:” For ‘in him”’ dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and ‘“ye are complete in him,”’ which is the ‘“head of all principality and power’…” The question is: Can you be complete in Jesus Christ and believe on his great Name to be saved? We have “One Hope of our Calling” and Jesus Christ is our One Hope: There is no Salvation in any other but Jesus. Why? It is as the Scripture hath said in Acts 4:12: “Neither is there Salvation in any other: For ‘there is none other Name under heaven given among Men whereby we must be saved’…”
There is “only one set of instructions” for receiving One’s own “Gift of the Holy Ghost,” his “Gift of Eternal Life:” Please keep in mind: To be saved, One must be of the “Such As Should Be Saved” that will obey the Gospel. Can you obey Acts 2:38-39 and receive your own “Gift of the Holy Ghost?” “Obedience is the Key!” Please hear and obey this Commandment to be “complete in Jesus.”
“Repent and be baptized every One of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins; and “ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost:” For this “Promise” is to you, to your Children, to them afar off, even to as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
Please join us on Facebook, and we print a small article in Harlan Daily for the weekends. May God bless and keep you from all harm in the Name of Jesus Christ.
