The truth shall set you free: The life is in the blood

By Pete Rowe - Contributing Writer

As it was in the Apostles’ Day there are Gods many and Lords many. The whole church world of our time is filled with “erring doctrines” that most people accept as true; but we can’t possibly address the whole church world at this time; however, with the help of the “Spirit of Christ, Jesus’ powerful Holy Ghost,” we can address the condition “professing Christianity” is in. It is not safe to believe anything you hear in these days; that is why we are stressing to the people to believe on Jesus “only as the scripture hath said.” If you can not find it in the Bible, leave any doctrine alone; and require from anybody and everybody scripture to support what you do decide to believe.

The “majority of professing Christianity” has been taught they will not have to go through the “great tribulation” the “man of sin” is bringing upon the whole world; and they are failing to look into the Word of God to see whether or not what they have been taught concerning this matter, and all other matters, is really true. Instead of “faith in God’s Word,” many are being taught to have faith in what their pastors and teachers are telling them. And therefore, the members, in many cases, have become very subject to their pastors and teachers, rather than “subject to God’s Word” as God intended.

Nothing can set one free from erring except the truth. Jesus has confessed: “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life: No Man cometh to “the Father” but by me.”

The Scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees were teaching false doctrines when Jesus came to earth. Truth had fallen in the street and it was being trampled. The Scribes were teaching that Christ would be just be a man, a “Son of David,” not the “Son of God.” Jesus corrected them, saying, “David called him “Lord,” so how was Christ the “Son of David?” However, that “false doctrine” was working strong at that time, and it is still working strong with the Jews. When Jesus preached “Before Abraham was, I am,” the Jews and religious leaders responded, “you have a devil.”

Responding to the custom of the law, Jesus stayed at home and waited until he was about 30 years old before starting his ministry. The Jews knew that Jesus had been a carpenter and that he had an earthly family; therefore, they would refer to the fact that Jesus was the “carpenter’s son.” Matthew 13:55. When Jesus preached that he was the “Son of God,” the Jews picked up stones to stone him: Jesus asked them in John 10:32, “For which of the works of my Father do you stone me?” They replied, “For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy because you, a man, are making yourself God.” Jesus responded, “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: That ye may know, and believe, that The Father is in me and I in him.”

As the scripture hath said in John 21:25, “Jesus was doing so many wonderful works that if they were written in books, the world could not contain the books.” We are informed that many of the rulers of Israel believed him, but they would not confess it for fear of the Pharisees, and the loss of their places in the Synagogues. John 12:42. It is the same today; many members of the Christian churches can see the truth, but they won’t confess it lest they lose their place in their church.

However, Jesus sees those who “love their neighbors as themselves” and do come to the knowledge of the truth, and will patiently make a great effort to help their family and friends find the truth. Jesus has warned us all in Matthew 7:13-27,

“Enter ye at the Strait Gate: For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and “many there be which go in thereat.” Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and “few there be that find it.” Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly, they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits…

Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Jesus continues, letting us know he is not talking about natural fruit trees.

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy Name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: Depart from me, “ye that work iniquity.”

As Paul told us, “Workers of iniquity” were already working in his day; and “iniquity was abounding.” It is a very popular thing today for a few very popular evangelists to tell the crowds, “All you have to do is call Jesus “Lord” and you will be saved. As you can see, Jesus tells us, ‘“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Please listen very closely and carefully to Jesus’ words: “Workers of iniquity,” that he told to depart from him, told him they had done wonderful works in his Name; they told him they had cast out devils in his Name and had prophesied in his Name. Yet, he professed unto them, “I never knew you.” Jesus explained why he never knew them.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not. For it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell. And great was the fall of it.”

What was Jesus saying? He was saying that the “workers of iniquity” were calling him Lord, and they were hearing his words; however, they were not doing what his word instructed them to do. Therefore, their house would fall because “they were not building upon the rock.” Who is the rock? “What stone foundation must we, both Jew and Gentile, build our house upon?”

We all must build our house “around and upon Jesus Christ,” which is “the solid rock,” the “precious chief cornerstone,” the “sure foundation of the apostles and the prophets.” If Jesus Christ were not “both” the “One Lord God of Israel,” and “Christ, the one Lord God of the whole world of Jews and Gentiles,” as Peter said in Acts 2:36, then Jesus could not be the “sure foundation of both the apostles and the prophets” as the scripture hath said in Ephesians 2:20.

The Jews, as a whole, will never believe in a trinity because “Moses commanded them to worship one Lord God;” however, the “stone that the builders rejected” when Jesus paid them a personal visit, is still being rejected. Jesus is that “spiritual rock” that Moses and his followers drank of in the wilderness; but the Jews are not being told that.

Churches are preaching a “trinity” to them and they know only “one true God” exists.

But, they are listening to their present day rabbis and scribes, not to their own prophets:

Isaiah, a solid “one Lord God preacher,” preached in Isaiah 9:6: “Unto us a child is born. Unto us a Son is given. And the (church) government shall be upon his shoulder. His name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. And of “his government” there shall be no end.”

Daniel foresaw Jesus’ birth saying, “I beheld until a “Stone was cut out without hands.” “Jesus is the only atone, the only Rock of Ages,” in God’s Word. In other words, as Jesus said, “One must build his house upon the rock or it will fall.” Please listen to Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:4:1-4:

“Moreover, Brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our Fathers were under the Cloud, and all passed through the Sea; and were all baptized unto Moses in the Cloud and in the Sea; and did all eat the same “Spiritual Meat,” and did all drink the same “Spiritual Drink.” For they drank of that “Spiritual Rock that followed them. And that rock was Christ.”

As you can read, Paul did not want the Jews to be ignorant, nor the Gentiles: He informs us all, Jew and Gentile, that the “Jews drank of that “same Spiritual Rock” that followed them; and “that rock was Christ.” “Listen again to Paul: “By One Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jew or Gentile, bond or free.” “We are all made to drink into One Spirit”’…” Please realize, “In the wilderness, Moses was told to “smite the Rock” and Water came out of the Rock for the Children of Israel to drink. Jesus, that Great Rock of Ages, was smitten so that we can drink of that “Living Water” that came out of “The Rock, when he died on the cross.” What does this mean?

As Paul said, we must all, both Jew and Gentiles, drink of the “same Spiritual Rock.” Jesus spoke in Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any Man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and ‘“sup with him and him with me.”

One can not worship God “in Spirit and in Truth” except he is baptized into the “Kingdom of God,” which is the “Holy Ghost himself,” the “Spirit of Truth.”

Paul describes the “Kingdom of God.” “The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink (offerings under the law). The Kingdom of God is “Righteousness, Peace and Joy “in the Holy Ghost”’…” Jesus preached the same: “The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation; neither can they say, Lo, here; or Lo, there. For the “Kingdom of God is within you.”

The Jews today still reject “Jesus as their Rock” and will not build upon Jesus Christ, the sure foundation of the apostles and profits. But neither are the majority of the Gentiles building upon Jesus as their Rock of Salvation, their sure foundation. The Mother Catholic Church of Rome believes that “Peter is the Rock.” They are building according to the “Nicene Creed” on the “Trinity, God in three persons.”

Please keep in mind, Jesus has said: “He that believeth on me “as the scripture hath said” out of his belly shall flow “Rivers of Living Water.” What is “Living Water?” Jesus’ “Spiritual Living Water” is his Holy Ghost, his own Holy Spirit. As Paul preached: “By “One spirit” we are all baptized into One Body…And we are all made to drink of “One Spirit.” Paul stated firmly in Romans 8:9: “If any Man hath not the “Spirit of Christ” he is “none of his.”

Jesus told Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: “Ye must be “born again” of the water and of the Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God.” Getting “born again” means that one must return to his “first estate as a newborn,” having no sin and shame; then he qualifies “as a Spiritual Newborn” to be born or baptized by one spirit into the “Body of Christ, which is the Kingdom of God.” You see, “God is a Spirit; and his Kingdom is a Spiritual Kingdom.” Therefore, to enter the “Spiritual Kingdom of God,” you must be “Spiritually re-born into the Kingdom of God.” As Jesus said, the “Kingdom of God is within you.” It cannot be observed; they cannot say, Lo, here; or Lo, there; because the Kingdom is within you. Paul said, “The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and Joy “in the Holy Ghost.” Therefore, One is born into the Kingdom of God; and the Kingdom of God is within him. In other words, after One has been born again, “he is in the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of Christ, and the Holy Ghost is in him.” As the scripture hath said: “If any Man hath not the Spirit of Christ he is none of his.”

Please understand fully that One must be “baptized in the Spirit of Truth,” (Holy Ghost) and be “washed in the Blood of the Lamb,” and be “baptized with Spiritual Water in Jesus’ Rivers of Living Water,” to have all his sins remitted into God’s “Sea of Forgetfulness.” One has to become a family member of Jesus’ family, and be sealed with his the family name, “Jesus Christ,” in his forehead. How can all that be, the lamb shed his blood on the cross, his “Spirit, Water and Blood” came out of his body on that day? John explains it to us in 1 John 5:8.

Please listen very carefully: John said in 1 John 5:8, “And there are “three that bear witness in earth,” the “Spirit, the Water, and the Blood.” And “these three agree in One.” Please fully realize that John is talking about “Jesus’ Spirit, Water and Blood.” These three, “the Spirit, the Water and the Blood,” came out of Jesus’ body when he died on the cross. Please listen very carefully to fully understand.

The “Spirit, Water and Blood,” that came out of Jesus’ precious body “agree in One Spirit, the Holy Ghost.” God took a rib out of Adam’s body to make him a wife; the Holy Ghost, representing the “Spirit, Water and Blood” that came out of Jesus’ body, made Jesus a “Spiritual Wife,” the “Bride, the Lamb’s Wife.” And the Holy Ghost still represents the “Spirit, Water and Blood” that came out of Jesus while he was in the deep sleep of death;” and he is still witnessing on earth and increasing the membership of the “Bride, the Lamb’s Wife.” As Paul said, “By One Spirit are we all baptized into One Body, whether we be Jew or Gentile, bond or free: We are all made to drink into One Spirit.”

Jesus shares his “Holy Ghost” (One Spirit) and drinks with us: “Behold, I stand at the Door and knock: If any Man will hear my voice (Word of God) and opens the door, I will come in unto him and “Sup with him and he with Me.” Jesus told his disciples: “When the “Spirit of Truth, the Holy Ghost” comes, he will testify of me. The Holy Ghost is truly testifying of Jesus. Please listen to John again: “For there are “three that bear witness on the earth.” The “Spirit, and the Water and the Blood” (that came out of Jesus’ body on the cross) and ‘“these three agree in One.” Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Have you been baptized into the One Body of Christ, and drank with Jesus his Living Water? As Jesus told the Samaritan Woman at Jacob’s Well: “God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him “in Spirit and in Truth,” for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” As God’s Word tells us: “Without the shedding of Blood there is no remission of sins… For the Life of the Flesh is in the Blood.” Please join me to thank our sweet and precious Lord Jesus Christ for “tasting death for every man,” so that all men, if they choose, “can be washed in his precious blood, and called by his precious, wonderful name, “Jesus Christ.” May God bless you with a happy new year.
